Winter Hair Hydration
It’s not only our skin that can feel the dehydrating, drying effects of Winter – our hair is prone to dryness and damage over the colder Winter months too. With the drier air, indoor heating, styling and blow drying, our hair can really take a beating over Winter. Add to that the natural drying of hair as we age, and our hair can end up in a frizzy, sorry state. We can do a few things to help keep our hair hydrated and nourished – only wash every second or third day if you can, and allow hair to air dry if it’s not too cold. It’s also important to use nourishing and hydrating hair care products throughout Winter, to nurse our hair through the cold temps, leaving us with soft, hydrated hair for Spring and Summer.
