For the past four weeks, I have been trialing the Rodan + Fields Redefine Regimen, the easy to follow, 3-step Day and Night, anti-ageing skincare range, to see if it is as good as everyone says it is for mature skin. I’ve road tested 4 products – the Daily Cleansing Mask, Pore Minimising Toner, Triple Defense Treatment Day Cream SPF 15, and Overnight Restorative Cream. For the past two weeks, I’ve added the new Active Hydration Serum, as the windy, wintery weather was leaving my skin a little dry (I’ll do a separate post on the Serum in the coming weeks). The end result – my skin feels smoother, firmer, and wonderfully plump and hydrated. The Daily Cleansing Mask is a clay consistency and is massaged on day and night, left to dry, and rinsed off. The tiny exfoliation beads in the cleansing mask left my skin super smooth, polishing away dull skin cells, without leaving it feeling dry or tight. The Pore Minimising Toner felt lovely and light on my skin, and left it feeling completely clean and fresh, and not tight or taut. The Triple Defense Day Cream SPF 15 left my skin feeling nourished and protected, and I did notice the difference in texture over 4 weeks. The gorgeously scented Overnight Restorative Cream left my skin wonderfully hydrated and rested each morning, and I also noticed a difference in skin firmness over the 4 weeks. So, does Rodan + Fields live up to the hype? In my humble opinion, yes it does. I love the difference in my skin tone, texture, firmness and smoothness. It is anti-ageing skincare that delivers (or as Rodan + Fields say “Life Changing Skincare”).
