We were super excited when we learned that Mavala Switzerland, one of our favourite nail brands, has launched a skincare line. The Mavala Swiss Skin Solution line is designed to target specific skincare concerns, via ranges of problem solving skincare. Containing Swiss Alpine botanical ingredients (each range has a different key botanical, specific to the skincare concern being targeted), combined with pure water from the Swiss Alps, and proven scientific ingredients, the skincare ranges are powerfully effective.
The five ranges within the skincare line all include the botanical Swiss Mallow Flower, which is known for its calming properties. The five ranges in the lineup are Anti-Age Pro, with Alpine Rose, a potent anti-ageing ingredient which helps to boost cell repair and rejuvenate your skin. The Anti-Age Pro range is designed for mature skin, to help with wrinkles, loss of radiance, and dark spots. The Aqua Plus range, designed to intensely re-infuse dehydrated skin contains Pure Hyaluronic Acid, of three different molecular weights, to help penetrate further into your skin. The Skin Vitality range is designed to awaken a healthy glow in tired dull skin, and contains Swiss Apricot Extract, to help tone and energise your skin. The Pore Detox range is perfect for skin suffering from imperfections, and contains Alpine Willowherb, to help purify and calm, Witch Hazel to help tone and purify, and Perlite, a natural volcanic powder, to help neutralise shine on your skin. Rounding out the 5 ranges, the Clean & Comfort range is designed to cleanse skin irritated by unsuitable cleansing products. Containing Aloe Vera to sooth and nourish your skin, the range gently cleanses and cares for your skin. With products ranging from masks to serums, moisturisers to mists, and cleansers to exfoliators, there is a solution for every skin need. Pricing ranges from $23.95 to $64.95 across the range of 17 products.
I’ve been using the Skin Vitality Mist and Skin Vitality Mask after a busy period, combined with a bout of illness, and it’s revived my skin brilliantly. My skin looks refreshed, hydrated, and energised – not like I’ve been battling the flu at all (and I’ve lost count of the people who are telling me I don’t look my age after a significant birthday). I’m a fan of skincare that works, and this really does!
