If you suffer from sensitive skin, you’ll know it can be difficult to find makeup that doesn’t irritate your skin. Thanks to the sensitive skin experts La Roche-Posay (their company motto is “a better life for sensitive skin”), and the Australian launch of their new sensitive skin make up range, it isn’t any more. The entire range is fragrance free, preservative free, and non-comedogenic, and has been tested on sensitive skin.
The Toleriane Teint range features the traditional “face” make up – a fluid foundation SPF 25, available in 7 shades, water-cream foundation (for drier sensitive skins), available in 5 shades, a mineral compact foundation SPF 25, available in 4 shades, a concealer pen available in 4 shades including green (for redness) and yellow (for dark circles) – if you don’t know how these work, click here to learn about the colour wheel. The range is rounded out by a mattifying fixing powder and a bronzing powder, both 1 shade each.
Many women with skin sensitivities or allergies can find mascaras irritating, so do not wear this beauty mainstay regularly, if at all, yet would love to have lush looking lashes. The good news is, now women with allergies and skin sensitivities need no longer go mascara free! The Respectissime range is a gentle makeup solution for intolerant and allergy prone eyes. The Respectissime range consists of 3 mascaras – a volume mascara, a multi-dimension mascara (for fragile, weakened lashes), and a waterproof mascara. The range also features a liquid eyeliner, and soft eye pencil – all in black, and a Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. The Respectissime range is also paraben free and nickel-controlled, to be especially gentle to sensitive eyes.
The range is available exclusively in Priceline, and prices range from $19.95 to $39.95. If you have sensitive skin, or suffer from rosacea or eczema flare ups or allergic breakouts, make a bee line to your nearest Priceline store, and learn about the products today.
Great to finally have a product for older people with sensitive skin. I have so much trouble with products around the eye area from creams, shadows, mascara, liners even cleansers. Great work x
I love their skin care and didn’t know they did makeup…will definitely give it a try. Great article!

Hi Sarita,
I’m sorry you’ve had a reaction to La Roche Posay. The range is free from most ingredients that can cause reactions, however if you do have specific allergies, it is possible you may still react. The best place to find out the ingredients, and to find out what may have caused this is to speak with a consultant at La Roche Posay, as they are familiar with all their products and ingredients. I’d suggest giving them a call or contacting them via email. The details are here: https://www.laroche-posay.com.au/article/contact/a13171.aspx . Kind Regards, Beauty Over 40.
