I love travel – the chance to experience a new culture, catch up with family and friends, or just visit a few favourite spots. So, with travel back on the agenda, so too are the delights of Duty-Free shopping. With more checks and balances at the airport, I’m going to do my shopping in the relative peace and serenity downtown. No more rushing decisions at the airport with 10 minutes spare, with the ability to shop at the new Lotte Duty Free store in downtown Sydney, I can take my time, peruse the offerings, and come away with some great gifts for myself and others.

With Lotte Duty Free being the second largest duty-free retailer in the world, Lotte Duty Free Sydney offers a curated selection of brands, brands like Pola, Cosme Decorte, Helena Rubinstein are available alongside cherished beauty brands like La Prairie, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Shiseido, SK-II and Gucci Beauty, and dedicated Australian and K-Beauty areas. They also sell niche fragrances such as Le Labo, Frederic Malle and Killian. Covering 3 floors, and a travel destination in its own right, Lotte Duty Free also offers a wide selection of luxury watches and jewellery, and a wine and Whisky Bar (pictured), with resident Sommelier, that has to be seen to be believed. With the ability to shop at Lotte Duty Free up to 60 days out from your international travel, why not take a trip into the city and shop at your leisure, rather than rush at the airport. I can’t wait for my next trip (it’s imminent), and to have a stress-free Duty-Free shop that enhances my travel experience.

Lotte Duty Free is located on the corner of Pitt and Market St (just off Pitt St Mall) in Sydney.
