DMK is well known for its signature Enzyme Facial, which works to help oxygenate, detoxify, and revise your skin to help it function as young healthy skin does. Also known as The Game of Thrones or Dragon Facial, the treatment uses the signature Enzyme Mask to help encourage blood circulation, oxygenation, and lymphatic drainage, as well as helping to stimulate collagen production. It is a truly wonderful treatment, but did you know DMK also offer an Enzyme Treatment for the Body?

Offering similar benefits for your body as it does for your face, it is brilliant for anyone over 40 as it is good for fluid retention and firming, and great for revising loose, sagging skin and for helping to tighten your stomach and legs. The DMK treatment programs work to minimise the impact of aging, by revising the skin back to a healthy balanced state. How does this work exactly? The DMK enzymes promote a rush of fresh oxygenated blood from within your skin to dilated capillaries and creates a lymphatic drainage. This can be seen when the enzyme has been removed and a plasmatic effect can be seen (redness on the surface of your skin). When capillaries have been dilated it improves oxygen uptake from inside your body, and this blood is carrying oxygen and nutrients to your cells.

I had the treatment last week, and the treatment itself is very simple – firstly, my skin was cleansed with Hydra Louffa, a non-granular body gel designed to cleanse the skin and exfoliate dead skin cells. Then the body enzyme was applied and it set for 30 mins (it does completely harden – make sure you are in a comfortable position!) After it was removed Maximum Moisture Cream was applied, to penetrate and nourish my skin at a cellular level. The Maximum Moisture delivers water into the skin, thus increasing the water levels that are vital for barrier function and exfoliation. So, how did I feel afterwards? My stomach was criss-crossed with the dilated capillaries and plasmatic effect (head over to Instagram to see the pics). I truly couldn’t believe how effective it was. A little less so for my legs, but I did still get the effect. My skin felt instantly firmer, and has stayed this way for the week since treatment (a course of treatments is recommended for maximum effect). The Maximum Moisture was magic – I couldn’t believe how soft and smooth my skin felt – it really felt baby-soft, and so, so smooth.

The treatment ranges in price – expect to pay from $250 – $280. If you think your body could benefit from this treatment for Summer (or any time), click here to find a DMK salon near you: https://www.dmkskin.com.au/clinic_locator
