Another favourite eco conscious Aus beauty brand Sabbia Co. Founded on the Gold Coast, Qld, after Ocean loving founders visited a remote beach in Sri Lanka and were devastated by the amount of single-use plastics that surrounded them. Vatea
There must be something in the water in Australia (or we are just super eco conscious), as we just keep turning out gorgeous eco-friendly beauty brands. Founded in Sydney (by the daughter of renowned skincare brand Dermaveen), vegan and cruelty-free Vatea formulates plant-based products without parabens, sulphates, artificial fragrances or dyes, for skincare that helps keep skin healthy, and helping to prevent skin irritation. The brand celebrates the efficacy of natural medicines and ingredients through its use of tamaru, moringa and coconut oils from the South Pacific, and extracts from the Australian Outback across the range. My favourites for gifting this Christmas, the hero Vatea Pure Body Oil (250ml RRP $42.00), with extracts of lavender and chamomile, which can be applied directly to skin to deeply nourish, or added to a bath for added relaxation.
