I haven’t really minded masking up during our recent restrictions – there is something to be said for keeping the community safe. My only (very minor) complaint? With most of my skin looking good for its age, masking up really highlights the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes, and makes me look much older. So I’ve been looking for a really good eye cream to plump and soften the lines while we mask and beyond.
The solution I’ve found – the decadent Andalou Naturals Deep Wrinkle Dermal Filler with Organic Fair Trade Cocoa Seed Butter (the whole vegan Age Defying range contains this pampering ingredient, and you really can smell it mmmmm), Fruit stem cell complex, Resveratrol, CoQ10 and goji glycopeptides. The formula helps to boost cell energy and helps to support skins essential building blocks, collagen and elastin, visibly plumping and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. Insider tip, it’s great for the fine lines around your mouth and on cheeks too. But it’s not the only hero in the range – I’ve also been using the BioActive Berry Fruit Enzyme Mask, with Apple & Grape Fruit Stem Cells Resveratrol CoQ10, antioxidant rich BioActive Berry complex and Fruit Juice Enzymes from Cranberry, Apple and Lemon to gently dissolve and exfoliate dull, dry surface cells and keep “maskne” at bay – simply brilliant for mature skin where cell turnover has declined. Finally, to make sure my skin is reveal worthy when I’m not using the mask, I’ve been using the Fruit Stem Cell Revitalize Serum and Hyaluronic DMAE Lift & Firm Cream combination, both with Fruit stem cell complex, and Resveratrol CoQ10, whilst the Serum contains and goji glycopeptides, and the Cream Hyaluronic Acid to help support skin vitality and the production of collagen and elastin, for what I have noticed is visibly firmer skin. There are a couple of other products in the range, including the Resveratrol Q10 Night Repair Cream, and Avo Cocoa Skin Food Mask (yes, it smells as good as it sounds), but I’m keeping these for a review closer to Winter.
