Spring Body Washes
I just love the start of an Australian spring – the scent of Jasmine in the air, the days getting longer, new fruits coming into season, the chance to pull on fewer and lighter clothes, and of course the chance to switch to a new body wash. Whether you prefer your scent fresh and fruity, or light and floral, there is a body wash to suit!!
Whether you use a bar soap or liquid body wash is an entirely personal choice, however I love body wash, as when used with a loofah or sponge, it has the added benefit of exfoliating away those pesky dead skin cells (which become more common as we age and our cell renewal slows down), and as you do this whilst you cleanse, it’s a great time saver. Remember to pat dry rather than rub once you leave the bath or shower to retain the moisture in your skin.
Moisturising Body Washes
For some people, Spring is a time of allergies and itchiness, so a gentle hydrating body wash is still a must. Many body washes have the advantage of having added moisturisers and oils, making them less drying than traditional bar soaps. Spring Scented Body Washes
Spring is the perfect time to switch to a fresh, lighter fragranced body wash scent. The opportunity to smell like fresh flowers or a delightful fruit combo is too good to miss. If you can’t decide what type of scent you prefer, try to think about the end result – do you shower in the morning? If so, a zesty fruity scent may be perfect to wake up the senses. If you prefer to shower at night, you may be more suited to a lavender or floral scent with calming and sleep promoting qualities. Ultimately, the choice is yours.
