Romantic Restaurants for the Perfect Date Night

You don’t need to be young or newly dating to enjoy a romantic dinner – only young at heart. The age old saying “the way to a loved one’s heart is through their stomachs” still rings true today, with new research from OpenTable revealing that dining out as a couple is integral to keeping the relationship flame alive.

The Relationship Reviver diner research has uncovered that two thirds (67%) of Australians in relationships prefer to spend a date night sharing great food at a new or favourite restaurant, putting aside an average $2,244 per year on eating out with their significant other. As a nation, loved up Australians collectively spend a phenomenal $18.5 billion on dining out with their partners. Given that Date Night is such an important part of keeping the romance alive, we’ve found, along with OpenTable, some cosy date night restaurants around Australia that will help you create the perfect atmosphere to help keep the romance alive.
