Looking after our Decolletage
Why do we need to take care of our decolletage as we age? Is the skin on our decolletage really so different from the rest of our skin? We usually start to take very good care of our facial skin during our 30’s and 40’s to stave off aging, without realising that our decolletage is one of the first areas to show the signs of aging, and give away our true age. The skin on our decolletage is thin and delicate, and is often exposed to the sun via low cut tops and dresses. Added to this, we often forget to moisturise our decolletage (and neck), so it’s no wonder it starts age with discolouration, blotchiness, lines and wrinkles long before the rest of our skin.
